Saraswati Devi is honoured in the Wargal Temple. It is situated at a level that is very similar to the third floor, where the garbhagriha is. The Goddess is depicted in all of her splendor, decked out in a saree and adorned with numerous gems and garlands. In front of the temple is a stunning work of art that is an idol of the Goddess that is around 10 feet high.
The festivals of Vasantha Panchami, Navartri Mahaotsavam, and Shani Tryodasi are all grandly observed in this temple. The most fortunate day to worship Saraswati Devi is Moola Nakshatram (the star of her birth). At the temple, unique rites are carried out on this day.
Before their kids start school for the first time, many families take their kids to this temple for their Aksharaabyasam. Everyone who visits the temple, known as Nitya Annadanam, is given complimentary meals.
