Gandikota

   Gandikota In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh's Kadapa district, 15 km from Jammalamudugu, is a village called Gandikota on the right bank of the Penna River. Kakatiya Raja, a servant of Ahavamalla Someswara I, the Kalyani Chalukya emperor, initially discovered and constructed the Sand fort in the Gandikota area in 1123.  Shamirpet lake Shamirpet lake is a man-made lake that was created more than 50 years ago to meet the local area's water demands. It was dug by the Shamirpet area's then-Jagirdar. The local Telugu name for this lake is "Pedda Cheruvu," which translates to "big lake."  Hyderabad has many attractive tourist attractions. Shamirpet lake  is a stunning man-made lake, which is roughly 27 miles from Secunderabad, is the epitome of tranquilly and peace. Its around an hour drive from Hyderabad city it is a great place especially evening.  Wargal Temple  The second most well-known Saraswati temple in the state, after Basara, is the Saraswati Temple in Wargal Village, Siddipet District, Telangana. Children's temple Aksharaabyasa is well-known. It is a well-known pilgrimage place near Siddipet and Hyderabad.   One of the few Saraswati temples in Telangana is the Wargal Saraswati Temple. It was created by Sri Yamavaram Chandrashekhara Sharma and is also known as Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple. In 1989, the foundation stone for the temple was set. Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Devasthnam in Secunderabad   Shri Appaiah garu placed a wooden idol at the location of the current temple in July 1815, where pujas are still being performed today. Sri venkateswara swami temple in Alwal    Sri Balaji Venkateswara Swamy temple at Alwal is one of the of the oldest temples in the city built by Chandulal Bahadur,during the regin of nawab sikandarjah. This temple was built during the 18th century.  A saint named Vishnu Balaji is said to have stopped at Alwal while travelling back to Kashi on a pilgrimage to Tirumala. The saint, who was carrying an idol of Lord Balaji, meditated under a tamarind tree while he was there. Between 1833 to 1844, Chandulal Bahadur served as the prime minister of Hyderabad state. He and his family visited the saint to ask for his blessing. In his dream, Lord Venkateswara Swamy requested that Chandulal construct a temple at Alwal so that pilgrims who could not afford to go to Tirumala could perform their vows nearby.
